What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is minimally invasive and helps lessen the signs of aging, improves the appearance of acne scars, and improves the skin’s tone and texture.
We use state-of-the-art microneedling devices with tiny microneedles that create micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural wound healing process, triggering the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to remodeling of collagen and elastin.

How It Works:

Who should not get microneedling?
Microneedling may not be suitable if you have active acne breakouts, active skin infections, are pregnant, or are taking certain medications. During your consultation, our medical team will review your health history to ensure microneedling is safe and appropriate for you.
What's the difference between microneedling and other anti-aging treatments?
Microneedling works with your body's natural healing response rather than resurfacing or removing skin layers. This makes it ideal for clients seeking natural rejuvenation with minimal downtime. It can also be combined with other treatments like Botox or dermal fillers as part of a comprehensive anti-aging plan. During your consultation, we'll discuss which treatments align best with your goals.
How many microneedling treatments do I need?
Ideal results require 3-4 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart. This helps your skin’s collagen to build up over the course of those treatments.
How do I care for my skin after my treatment?
After microneedling, the microchannels we created will remain open for 24 hours, so you will need to be protective of your skin. We will provide you with a post-procedure kit that includes gentle skin care to heal and soothe your skin. We recommend that for 48 hours afterwards that you stay out of the sun and avoid strenuous exercise. You also should sleep on a clean pillow to avoid exposure to bacteria.
What will my skin look like after my microneedling treatment?
Your skin will appear red, like you have a sunburn. You may have some mild pinpoint bleeding on any bony prominences of your face. You can expect your skin to remain red that day and may still be slightly pink the next day.
What can I expect at my microneedling appointment? Does it hurt?
We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable during your treatment. We’ll tuck you in one of our spa beds, and apply soothing warmies to your neck and hands. We’ll cleanse your skin and apply a powerful numbing cream so it’s not painful. We’ll pass the microneedling device over your skin, targeting any areas of concern. Afterwards, we’ll soothe and restore your skin with a biocellulose mask.
